Scopa is a very popular card game in Italy. Sapete come si gioca? Does anyone know how to play?    The cards look like this:

Il Mercato: the weekly market in town.

This is a typical "mercato" that takes place each Wednesday in my Italian hometown of Benevento, Italy.  Any thoughts?  What kind of things might you purchase here?
